A Unique Horse Drawn Experience

Enjoy a walk down memory lane with the Pirongia Clydesdales. The wagon ride tours take in some of Pirongia's most picturesque scenery and pass through some of the most historically significant spots of the area. Along the way driver, Nick, will point out the places of interest and enlighten you with some of the local history. Wagon tours vary from 20mins - 45mins long and can be tailored to suit your time frame.

The tours can also include stops at some of the area's most prestigous gardens, the Alexandra Redoubt, the Arts & Craft shop, the Pirongia Information Centre and other local attractions.

Following the wagon tour, visitors are invited to enjoy a delicious country meal back at our base.
