Carriage Driving Clinics - South Island

We're thrilled to announce that Samantha van der Sande will be travelling to the South Island this December to give individual and group carriage driving lessons in Nelson and Christchurch.

Samantha will visit Nelson on Monday, December 17 before heading down to Christchurch to teach on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th of December. Her focus will remain primarily on dressage for the driving horse with a particular emphasis on forwardness and softness in the hand. Samantha is also a traditional driving specialist and happy to give tuition around traditional, or coachman style driving.

The lessons are fun and enjoyable, and suitable for any level. Samantha is also happy to advise on harness and vehicles.

Samantha is currently the Auckland Royal Show Champion Lady Driver and has spent time working under the guidance of some of Britain's top coachmen. In 2011, she worked alongside current British four-in-hand driving Champion, Pippa Bassett.
