Clydesdales Feature on Popular Tourist Signs

Eye-catching information panels have recently been installed at Pirongia which highlight the great variety of attractions for visitors. This has been a project led by the Pirongia Tourism Association, with funding generously provided by Te Awamutu Community Public Relations Organisation for concept development, and Pub Charity and Lion Foundation for production and installation. The signs are located at the off-road carpark on Franklin St so travellers can easily view them during a rest-stop.

“We are delighted with the range of offerings depicted on the signs, and they are an excellent lead-in to our website: www.pirongia.org.nz and the Pirongia Trails Brochure which is available locally,” Association Chairperson Clare St Pierre said. “It shows what a wonderful place Pirongia is for visitors to explore, whether they like to get into the outdoors, take in some history or simply pamper themselves.”
